Saving Lives and Changing Lives

The year of 2019 is coming to an end and this year Mecca's Pit Bull Rescue made a difference in dogs lives. But we are very aware we would not be able to move forward without the help from supporting people.

The rescue had 2 new dogs come in and they have found good homes. As I write this on December 14, 2019 I realize the challenges we had.

The challenges of having events happen to bring in donations. The challenges of running online fundraisers to help the rescue.

The rescue had a few medical bills for the dogs at a total of $1,500.00 that is a challenge for a small rescue that is foster based. The food bill ranges at $200.00 a month coming in at $2,400.00 for the year.

The rescue just does make it but we made it, one more year. We made it because of people stepping up to help Mecca's Pit Bull Rescue.

Mecca's Pit Bull Rescue was founded because we believe in the dogs. Since 2010, 45 dogs have been rescued, fostered and recieved training.

Mecca Curtice, President/Founder has been in a 2 year Master Program becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She will continue her education as she works with her career. The dogs in the rescue will have a Professional Trainer there for them at all times.

Your support is needed to help this rescue, it is the only way it can grow. We can only change one life at a time, to stay within our limits.

We turned away many dogs this year because of no fosters or volunteers to help.

Change can only happen when efforts are put forward.

Support Rescue!
